JOHANNESBURG: South Africa's power supply crisis poses the biggest obstacle to growth, while state support to ailing utility Eskom and increased public sector wages may weigh on public finances, the International Monetary Fund.
The global lending body singled out delays in easing electricity shortages, and to policy and regulatory uncertainties, as chief constraints to economic growth in Africa's most developed economy.

Paramount Lighting has forged relationships with its principals to find an immediate solution to assist municipalities and Eskom to reduce power consumption on the grid throughout South Africa.
Eskoms' first initiative was the supply of CF lighting to replace incandescent bulbs. More can be done to reduce power and this requires the implementation of efficient lighting amongst others.
